This is where I give updates on my stories, both short and long.
Stories
So, the two newest stories that I've just made available are currently being shared through Google Docs. I feel like this is an okay way of doing things, but there are some downsides. Let's list the pros and cons:

Currently, I don't see a good enough reason to not post the Google Docs if I'm doing all my writing work in there anyways. And for the most part, converting to HTML, while not hard thanks to extensions, is superflous and doesn't add anything to a standard, no-weird-stuff story. Of course, if I am doing weird stuff that requires programmable elements, I think a special case would be warranted for those stories and I would upload those directly onto this website.
While I don't mind breaking the rules and being weird, there should also be a reason for breaking the rules. If all I'm doing is making the reading experience worse for the sake of being unique, I don't think it's worth it.
As of right now, The Ackscha Project is still being stored as HTML pages on this website, which I think I will fix in due time. I don't see myself needing crazy formatting or interactive elements for it, so keeping it simpler for everybody is easier.
If I find myself wanting more grandiose aesthetics and visuals to accompany my stories, then maybe I'll change my mind, but this is where I stand right now.

A short story about a dying romance set in the future. Trying to figure out the direction for this story was really difficult. I couldn't think of a way to introduce weird ideas into the story without making the reader uncomfortable. After sitting on it for a few weeks, I don't think I can make any more headway, so I'm releasing it as is. It is finished, but the lack of polish might show. Regardless, it is a story I wanted to tell at one point or the other, so at least I got it out of my system.

End Date: Jul 7, 2023 (TECHNICALLY today but all I did was remove like one line. I spent most of the time since the end date overthinking about the story instead of doing any editing.)

I see no point in waiting to release this, so here! A fully recovered script from some dumpster I found. It's a...parody? Of sitcoms? I don't really know to be honest. I wrote the entire latter half while staying up from 4-7 am.

I originally had the idea for this story in the middle of last summer. After a little over 10,000 words of concepts and planning, it has officially started with a set of 3 chapters, and will gain more chapters on a (hopefully) regular basis.
There are a myriad of reasons why I wanted to write this story - self-actualization, improving my skills as a writer, fulfilling childhood dreams, proving my ability to commit to projects, etc. I can't promise that the story will be good, as it will focus on a lot of topics I've had on my mind. There will be elements inspired from childhood shows and books as well as parts from mature shows that I've seen in the past year. It'll be a bit goofy, it'll get political, and it'll probably feel a bit personal at times. The story will definitely get messy, but I want it to be true to the ideas I want to present.
My main goal is this: complete this story and include all of my ideas. If I can accomplish that, I will be more than satisfied.
Very few people are reading this in the first place, but if you are, thank you, and if you do really want to read my story, then thank you thank you thank you. I will at least make the story readable for you.
